MEET FLETCHER

Fletcher Shryock is a professional bass angler competing on Major League Fishing’s Bass Pro Tour and other elite MLF circuits. Originally from Ohio and now living in Guntersville, Alabama, Shryock found competitive fishing after a motocross injury ended his racing career in 2009. His rapid rise in the sport began with a victory at the 2011 Bass Pro Shops Southern Open on Lake Norman, only his second major tournament.

Over more than a decade as a touring pro, Shryock has earned a reputation for consistency and adaptability. Known especially for his skill in shallow water and heavy cover, he has logged numerous high finishes, qualified multiple times for REDCREST, and excelled in events like General Tire Heavy Hitters, where he posted one of the event’s largest bass. His steady results place him among MLF’s reliable veterans.

Away from competition, Shryock is respected for his work ethic and lifelong passion for fishing, which started in childhood. Backed by strong sponsor support, he continues to focus on preparation, time on the water, and competitive drive, maintaining his presence as a seasoned and respected figure in professional bass fishing.
